Former Harambee Stars Centre forward and Captain Dennis Oliech is now looking for a new club after his club DSC Dubai failed to get promotion to the Dubai top flight. The 30 year old lanky striker is moving on after the dismal performance as his fans wait to hear of his next move with one eye on the impending European football season starting August 2015.
His agent Nixon Onywanda also took the opportunity to clear the air on a potential move to Gor Mahia. Speaking to the press, Mr.Onywanda disregarded the claims saying nothing of the sort was going to happen and he had many other offers to consider especially in the Middle East.
Oliech went professional at the age of 19, playing in Qatar from 2003. In the year 2005 he joined French top league Nantes for a deal worth 3.7 million dollars, a deal which led to a controversial court case where Mathare United unsuccessfully tried to claim a Kshs. 14 million settlement from Nantes. In 2008 he went to Auxerre on loan and had a successful stay until 2011. He later had a spell at Ajaccio before signing for Al Nasr Dubai in 2015.
